Just fyi to Fort Wayne collectors,at Headwaters Park this upcoming weekend I am operating a booth showing 125 years worth of vacuum innovation. Vintage machines will be featured from both my collection and the Skaggs collection from the old vac shop. Please come by if you can! Rare machines to include a Bison and an Ohio TUEC.

The Display
It went very well, there were lots of interested folks! I was interviewed by the News Sentinel (I made sure to mention Vacuumland). Here are a few pics of the display. The giant carpet sweeper is apparently pretty rare, its extra wide to be able to sweep large areas and hallways. The logo on top reads "Bissell's Hall Sweeper" The pnuematic machine at the very end is an Ideal made by the American Sweeper Company, New York. On the newer end of things I featured a Hoover Innovation, Regina Housekeeper, and of course a Kirby G5.

As a man who loves the 'old stuff,' picture 2 really impressed me. This was the time period I loved. That Ideal is beautiful, as are all the others. Please post more of the 'antique' vacuum cleaners. Here's a look at my 'oldies.' Alex Taber.
