Modifying an Electrolux Model CB |

 Hey all! I am getting a power nozzle for my Electrolux CB soon, and the cord on the PN that I'm getting is a 3-prong outlet-style plug, while the connector on the machine is a 3-pin connector. Is it possible to swap out the 3-pin socket on the vacuum's motor unit for a 3-prong outlet? I've included pictures to show what I aim to do. Thanks so much!

Making a cord with the necessary ends is a great idea. Keep all the original stuff original. Make the cord up out of items that are not collectable or otherwise valuble. I did that to adapt a Wessel-Werk brush to a Kenmore wand. | ||
