Clearly the seller has no knowledge of vacuum cleaners. Standard terms like wand, amd nozzle were replaced with "pipe," and "head." Cordwinder becomes "spool!" And what's with the 14 day warenty?
As mentoned above, some junker rescued it from a dumpster, or landfill, and want's big bucks for it, but $135.00? if I read the price correctly. Give me a break! Still, it could look great if the right 'collector' gets it. Basically, Elextrolux LX's and XXX's are indistructable. Replace the motor (if needed) and the 'ejector mechenism' if need be, polish it, attach a 'companion,' and presto chango, a nice 'vintage' Electrolux. Works for me. But as I said, too rich for my wallet.

Gentlemen (and our non-gentlemen viewers), you're doing it wrong! Position the Electrolux so that the exhaust is blowing directly up. Wait for the exhaust to become warm. Once warm, attempt to tape a hotdog onto the extension wand. You may now cook with your model LX. For best results, always cook with a fresh bag!
Knowing me, that actually might work! I've done everything from cooking soup in a perculator to cooking pizza in a toaster! Call me crazy, but I'm sure anybody who has the walls decked in vintage appliances isn't the most sane of the batch! |

Soup in a percolator? That is almost disturbing to think about! |
