Today I decided to visit a local antique shop in town on my lunch, not really expecting to find anything. In the past I have had zero luck with this place, but I didn't just want to spend my lunch sitting in the parking lot at work. Anyway in one of the booths I spotted a small dark object with an all too familiar shape....I nearly fell over....it was an old Rexair Model B! I've wanted one for my collection for some time but never thought I'd actually find one in a shop! It doesn't have any attachments or hose but for $40 I figured I'd take it anyway. The motor sounds surprisingly well and it's just such a neat little vacuum! Here's some photos of it:

To say I was very pleased with my find is an understatement. I would love to find a useable hose and attachments, but just to have the working motor is a great start in my opinion! You know, I own a D4 SE as well and use it a LOT, and compared to this little guy, that D4 is GIGANTIC! I think that was my biggest surprise. When I saw it, I knew immediately it was the Rexair shape, but I thought at first it may have been a toy or a salesman's sample....not so....it was a fully functional vacuum!
