According to Doug Smith's records the Electrolux Model B-50 from Canada (taken from another Vacuumland thread) ... "Up until [the Model B-50] the Polisher Motor deck has been of cast Aluminum with a plastic motor shroud. The B model polisher soldiers on and appears again as the Model B-50 with an all plastic one piece top deck and motor shroud, on this page of the 1982-85 E-2000 Cleaner." He names this model's colors as almond and tan.
The Model B-50s were the machines manufactured right before the Model 2101s and Model 2101As which were also sold in the USA during the 1980s with the plastic-bodied vacuum cleaners such as the Hi-Tech 2100s, L-Es, and Diplomats.
This particular machine comes with a "vinyl storage case"--which I have never heard of before for any Electrolux Floor and Rug Conditioner (Canada) or Floor and Carpet Beautifier (USA). So I wonder if this was homemade, or if the Canadians once again made an item that the USA did not?
