Just found this photo on eBay. It shows an Ohio Tuec (one of my favorites!) with an early Edison bulb at the top of the handle yoke. If Ohio offered this as an option, they were 10 years ahead of Hoover! Hard to say whether this was a Rube Goldberg or something the factory actually offered. Any thoughts?

I always wondered about that. I don't think that contraption would fare well if pushed under low furniture, though!

I almost posted this yesterday, my eagle eye for detail never saw that obvious bulb mounted over the motor! I did find the electric coffee urn on the phonograph, screwed into the wall sconce.

I noticed that too. I thought she was getting ready to turn it on. Maybe the bright light would have lit the picture too much.

helen does ANYTHING that gets attention honey!!! print ads, movies, commercials, rumor has it that she's been seen on some of the most notorious corners in the world too! i guess she's a BIG hit in the netherlands!!!
