So in my quest to learn everything Kirby in the past few weeks since I got my first vintage one... a DS50 I have been scouring the web to find everything I can, and come across an interesting topic of discussion on Facebook .... a new Kirby model that is supposedly coming out in November of 2014. I'll attach a screen shot below of what I saw. Very interesting, if it's true I'd line up for a new one of these!

Didn't they teach you in school?

Credit cards are bad!

Did I say credit? I meant charge! I'm sure I can talk the manager at Wards to let me drop X amount of dollars on a new Kirby with my charge-all! tongue-out

Sorry, don't really like on board hoses-they get in the way, fall off, make the machine more clumsy and heavy.Use a seperate canister, anyway. What is rug "Mousel"?Do they mean "rug nozzle"?Will have to see this new machine, though.

Credit card? Probably more like a chat with the loan officer. "You want to borrow how much? For a vacuum?" I would be surprised if it's less than two large.

I would like to see Kirby revive the Douglas brand name as a premium canister to go with Kirby premium uprights. And no baloney slicer/buffer/grinder bs attachments, pleeeeeze. Just a premium quality canister vacuum and powered floor brush. No other useless fluff. That might interest me.

Will Kirby ever have a PN outlet so a Wessel Werk HEB160 can be used for vacing car interiors & stairs?

Likely not, you'd be better off using the Kirby as the power-nozzle! tongue-out
