Any collectors looking for these? I know of a place that has a few brand new, stuff like earlier bagged Windtunnels, soft bagged uprights. I stumbled across these by accident. They are full original price of whatever they sold for when they came out. If these appeal to anyone let me know via email. I'm not looking to buy and flip them for big bucks and am not disclosing the location to prevent someone else from doing the same as it isn't fair to everyone else. In a couple of days when I'm out that way I can get an exact list. These are not of my interest since I mainly collect Fantoms.

I tip my hat Man114. Not my cuppa, a bit too 'fresh' for my collection, but sure is nice to see someone not trying to take advantage of a situation for personal gain. Kudos man.

Ok here is how I will handle this...

To make this as fair as possible, since this has generated a lot of interest, what I'll do is once I have the models and prices I will send a list to the people that emailed me. If more than one person is interested in a given model but there is only one I'll randomly draw the name.

Pricing on them was never reduced and the pricing was more than say Wal-Mart or Kmart had them. For example one that was like $56 at Wal-Mart probably is something like $65.99 (so you can figure out why they haven't sold yet, because the pricing wasn't great and certainly isn't now).

The reason I'm doing it is because I've been very fortunate at finding what I want (perhaps too much so in respect to some Fantoms), Fantoms and Rainbows, and while these personally don't attract my interest doesn't mean they aren't someone else's dream machine. As I told those who emailed me the owner of the store where I found these has another location and there may potentially be a few more, neither of these are particularly close to me or place of work.

If anyone finds a NOS Fantom Thunder/Domestic/Destiny hope you remember me, remember convincing my parents to buy the 11 amp one when it was released for my birthday (still works) when I was a kid.

Do you have pics of the bagged Hoovers?

I have no pics, frankly the whole thing didn't even cross my mind until I was on here reading a thread about vacs off this era that it clicked. I had gone to the store looking for something entirely different. I'm pretty much working the next 9 days straight at the moment. The soft body ones are all the same, usually called concept, tradition, something like a 15 performance rating on Hoover's proprietary scale, dirty air upright using a type A bag I think it was. They'd package the same thing as a hard body and vent on the sides, to me even with high efficiency bags I'd take the cloth bag either way. They're pretty decent machines if you take care of them, my parents still use one in their garage.

What town are these located in?

Also, what is the name of the store? I would LOVE a NIB vintage vacuum, for a reasonable price.

Do U have a periwinkle blue Eureka all metal Dial-A-Nap upright? The base, hood, fan & even the handle made of metal; vinyl handle grip; 4 position height selector (rotary dial selector); no headlamp; pre-ESP series. It has the cheap wooden roller with brush & red plastic beater bars instead of VibraGroomer metal brush roller
