How is this not right? The vacuum had a severe motor failure. It's like having your Dyson explode due to typical Dyson quality and then blame the operator. If somebody crammed a firework into the vacuum, why on earth would they set it off in their house?

Lol Calem, I've heard stories of Kirbys picking up LIVE ammunition, and setting it off in the fan case! tongue-out

Kirby is like a Timex, it takes a lickin and keeps on ticking. I think I heard tell that the Army is going to start utilizing Kirby's for clearing mine fields - on account of the unusually high survivor rate of its operators. Their motto is, " Use a Kirby, it's bullet proof!"

No, the mine sweepers will just simply remover the Kevlar bags and send them special delivery to Dyson headquarters, where they can slap a power cord on'em and recycle them back into trash, with a $600.00 price tag..."Oh, what a wonderful world!"

Dysons made from recycled mines? That might explain the short lifespan! We need to warn the consumers! To the Kirbmobile! tongue-out

How is the air passing through Kevlar??

Golly Captain Kirby...

it's elementary! All you have to do is infuse copper with the Kevlar and flash heat it to 750 degrees for 3 seconds, and WAL-LAH!

Why didn't the man let his Vax smoke OUTSIDE in the smoking section! The video clip was kinda funny-the cameraman coughing to the smoking VAX!"Is it supposed to smoke like that?"NO--you let the smoke out of the motor-it won't work no more!

Super sweeper, I can assure you the early Dysons hardly burn out compared to the newer ones! It's not Typical Dyson quality. The original Dysons are the dual cyclones and the early DC07's and 08's. That's when they were made in Britain. Just because your DC07 wont work for you, (which is like one of the worst DC07's I have seen) it's pretty obvious why i wn't work then! Why would you hate your DC07 and say it's crap when it's not even in good condition? Try a proper one instead of a broken one atleast, because your just brand bashing there alright?
Thank you

Parwaz, for your information I have a new-condition DC07. It always bogged into the carpet, clogged, and was all-around terrible. Dyson has become a stereotype for 'poor quality' machines in todays market. I never said a thing about the older Dysons lacking in quality. Those were decent vacuums up until the DC07. Dyson has changed since then. It's best to know facts before accusing me of brand-bashing.

It's just that you were always saying negative things about dyson and it seemed like you were brand bashing ( sorry if I offended you) but for a DC07, its unusual that a DC07 clogs, especially that they have thick tubes

It would clog against the cyclone and the bin, right next to the input. I haven't used it in years, and don't intend too unless I'm putting it up against another vacuum! cool

Once a couple of years ago I was at an used vac-shop and tested a Dyson. Let me tell ya what, it was a real smoke wagon! After that little episode, I had to sit for a while just to catch my breath. It gave me one of the worst headaches I'd ever had in my life, which carried on for many more hours, to the point that it nearly even ruined my sleep. The next morning was awful, it felt like I woke up in a morgue. I was cold and had the rigors all over, and from that moment on, I vowed never again to desecrate a fingertip with the touch of a Dyson!

Yikes! That's the worst case of Dysonis I've ever heard of!

Symptoms of Dysonis (Dy-Son-Is) include:

-headaches

-buyers remorse

-capret damage

-frequent repair shop visits

-other stuff(????)

Ask your doctor about new and improved Kirbasis, the medical-grade flooring improvement pill. Kirbasis has been shown to cause cleaner floors and a better-maintained environment in the homes of its' users. Kirbasis' side-effects may include;

-cleaner carpets

-frequent vacuuming

-excessive Rug-Renovator shampoo purchasing

-excessive use of the Kirbys' many attachments

-more other stuff

tongue-out

that Dyson caused me to lay cyanotic for 12 hours. It was like the worst case of the bends you could ever possibly imagine. And to add insult to injury, once I recovered, I FOUND THAT I HAD A TASTE FOR HUMAN BRAINS...AH..AH..AH..AH..AH..AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Kirbasis' sounds much better than that evil Dysonis!

No Alex, it was kinda like that zombie movie, when those two idiots started hitting that military drum containing a undead; all the while as they were bragging about its indestructability, and then the unthinkable happened....it began spewing forth its death cloud, killing them both before they hit the ground.

Good thing they didn't throw a Kirby off the roof, not that it would've hurt the Kirby any, but it would've left one mighty of an impact crater in the lawn.

It would even clean the putrefied, splintered remains of that Dyson that those two "morons" pitched off the roof, but would you want to suck up that kind of rot and decay in such a wholesome machine?

It's time to get back on track. I must say what's really offensive is "these so called" companies praying upon the helpless American public, often with complete impunity. When I see such things as these, it makes me feel like this poor old man, feeble and in distress...just horrible! From now on, when referring to plastic vacs, I'll just call them " Explosive Cheap Vacs!" - Watch Out!!!
