Hi Lucy...

Saw you just posted some auctions in the eBay boxes above, thanks for letting everyone here know!

I've found it's also good to post your links right in a thread as well, they get better coverage than just giving your username because not everyone knows how to search on eBay like that. So here they are...

That's not a new thing. This Charles is an oldie!

I will be listing over the next few weeks. I'm really struggling to find info on the older bits and want to be a little more thorough in my description. Can anyone recommend anywhere please?

Will the Siemens canister vac run on US house current or would it just be a decoration here?

tortoise guy,

It will, but it would only run on low speed! tongue-out

You could run it on a British-plug connected to a dryer plug!

"want to be a little more thorough in my description.

Dare I ask why though? It's the words in the title which potential bidders will be searching on, and anyone even remotely interested in what you are selling will already know quite a lot about the product. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

You have some real one-offs in your possession, of this there is no doubt. I do think however that some of the prices you have listed the goods for have yet to reflect what people are willing to pay. The one which caught my attention of all was the Polti water vac. I had one of these in my shop once, purchased as an end of line bargain from a supplier. I literally couldn't give the thing away. It went to a charity shop in the end.

More info

newoldcleaners's profile picture
Last time I listed a bulk of old cleaners I was advised on here to add more specifications so they'd have the option of selling to a non-collector if ok collector was interested.

With regards to the Buy It Now prices, Gareth has asked me to list at these prices as they sold for this price (or more) at auction. As for the Polti vac, this was before my time but recent enough that Gareth knows how much it cost. We sold one to a lady who loved hers. I understand that this idea didn't take off though.

I took these pictures at our warehouse and have been working my way through when possible. I am collecting the cleaners on Monday next week and can list model numbers and better pictures of the boxes etc.
