Is it a Singer DLC 400 maybe? Kind of looks like one. Are tools, powered brushes and parts still possible to find? What kind of motor is in these? Thanks in advance. |

It looks an awful lot like an old Panasonic a friend of mine had. They were kinda square and blocky like that in the 1980s. I may be wrong. |

Look at the photos in the original eBay listing. There is one image of the bottom surface. It looks like either the tools or the cord goes on the bottom. Does anyone know? |

DesertTortoise, whatever you do, DON'T BUY THAT KENMORE!!!!! Ever since Bissell bought Singer from Ryobi, parts have been long discontinued for anything that had the Singer name on it, was a Singer design, or was made by Ryobi. Trust me, if you buy this vacuum, you will have a bloody nightmare trying to find parts for it!

Funny thing but there is a Singer retractable cord reel being offered on eBay right now. New old stock. Serendipity? Stay tuned kids. |

Suckolux, I bought it for $28 after a lengthy give and take with the seller. It was shipped this morning and I ought to have it by Friday or Monday of next week. Now to research that cord reel on eBay. |

Might have a sudsy kitchen sink montage for the admiring crowds to drool over soon. I'm curious to see what is inside that gray plastic. |
