Hi,

Please see attached pictured. I have found a new in bag (no box) DC03 clear. Unfortunately from the pics you can see that the handle is missing. Does anyone have a picture of the handle I am looking for so I can identify it quickly please?

Thanks in advance.

That is unbelievable, I'd do anything for a used dc03 clear let alone a new one! Even if it is missing the handle and unboxed!

I'm going to have a good look for the handle/box tomorrow. I found this by complete accident today. It has the clear tools and I think instructions at the bottom of the bag under the cleaner. It is a gorgeous looking vacuum. I'd really like to complete the cleaner so will be beavering tomorrow.

We will be selling this one. We are keeping only the celebrity and de Stijl. I have some cracking Hoover cleaners coming up again before long too.

Will keep you updated.

Just to let you know, approx 6 months ago there was a DC02 clear for sale on eBay, all complete, all tools and everything including the paper work/manual, and it still wouldn't sell at the price of £279.99

Try this eBay link...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DYSON-DC03-WAN...

I'm even more excited about this than the dc02 de stijl.

I'm really lucky in that my dc03 clear is really good condition and complete, original.

Please post the auction on here.

Will it have a buy it now? And if poss more pics would be lovely.

Thank you. Good luck with the link. If you can't find the handle will you sell without or buy one to complete the dyson?

What a coincidence that on Sunday, I was really eager for a DC03 absolute and it looked so beautiful I was raving about it to my friends and I was hoping that it would be there next week, and now This came up! Omg I am so happy

Cee Jay may I kindly request for this item to bespecially wrapped (as safely packaged as possible) as even the grey DC03's are fragile, and this old model in good cndition, with clear plastic is like having a vacuum made out of glass

Pics and postage

newoldcleaners's profile picture
I will upload more pics for you, no problem.

I have been called into the other branch today so I cannot get them until tomorrow now :-(

When sent I would package it with the utmost care. I have a box approx the right size. I would fill with big bubble wrap, box, bubblewrap the outer box and pallet wrap.
I know what couriers can be like so would be extremely careful.

We would sell it without if we cannot find the handle. I'd just really like to complete the cleaner if possible. I have a few places I suspect it could be. It's exciting to find it new. This has never been switched on and is a fine looking cleaner. It is in a polythene bag and I could see no scratches/marks but better photographs will clarify whether there are any. I was so excited I cheered!

I will keep you updated...

I will put it on eBay at the end of next month. That way everyone gets a fair shot at it.

It's on it's way back to my house so I can post some more pictures later, of the plate underneath and accessories.

I also want to know if the paper I saw in the bag were the instructions. That'd be cool. Also looking for the box. I was soooo excited to find this. I was disappointed I hadn't found a Clear Dyson.

How rare is this? It won't affect the price as I will list with maybe a £100 reserve. I really like it myself but couldn't use it knowing you guys would look after it so well and I'd trash it with 4 dogs and 3 children!

It's kinda rare, it's easy to find one in broken condition tho
Any chances you can put a BN price on? Thanks :) May I also see a pic of the hose + rear view cheers

PS the filter ring is open, if you turn it 90 degrees to the right hand side, it should stop the upper filter case wobbling about

Even for a Dyson, that is a cool looking vacuum! Could you imagine a translucent Fantom Thunder in that lovely fusion purple?

It's a shame we didn't get these here in the states! (Can you believe I just said that?tongue-out)

Dyson boy guy, you should go for this! Where else are you going to find such a cool looking Dyson? Think of how durable (I know I didn't just call a Dyson 'durable'!) It is compared to that new DC54! Think of how many DC54s you'll see in the future compared to CLEAR DC03s!

The sale of the century...

Hello.

I was wondering if this dc03 clear was going up for sale anytime soon??? Thanks

Post# 300111 , Reply# 49   9/29/2014 at 14:15 (3,490 days old) by beko1987 (Stokenchurch, United Kingdom)

That is a thing of beauty! British too. The second its used for actual vacuuming though it will be ruined, as the dust will get everywhere.

Good luck with postage, that are very brittle! Wrap the wand seperatly inside the box!
