. Sad. Another collector's treasures face the tragic fate of the dumpster, or MORE TRAGIC -- Storage Wars. But this same parable has been written, almost identical in chapter and verse, time and time again with appliance collectors. So many of us get to a point where the line between leisurely collecting and obsessively hoarding is crossed and before you know it, four (or more) storage units are filled floor to ceiling, wall to wall, packed in with stuff so densely that you can hardly even see all the treasures, let again maintain and enjoy them. Really sad. | ||

Oh wow!
Being a fan collector myself, in addition to vacuums, my mouth is drooling at those photos! If only I wasn't on the other side of the US! Charles is right though, what starts off as a simple hobby of collecting a few items (fans, vacuums, Christmas lights, etc.) can very quickly get out of hand! I personally have filled a double storage building to capacity, basement of my house is full, and I could probably stand to get a storage building. Even my own wife threatens to call hoarders on me (just kidding on that part!). I do hope that whomever gets the items from the building is a collector who will properly appreciate them!
