She's been sick! The aliens must have had her vacuum up something that didn't agree with her. Me paint her, no I would never do that unless it matched the origianal colour. I found that on Ebay. LOL

. Yeah, I saw that too. You have to wonder if vac shops or Kirby dealerships have any aesthetic sense at all. You'd think they would at least TRY to install matching colors of trim, wheels, etc. on machines; instead, it seems they go out of their way to deliberately mismatch stuff. Maybe it's a subtle ploy of trying to get the customer to get a shiny-new color-matched machine instead of having to use an ugly, mismatched mongrel. |

tbat is exactly why they do it.. make it as ugly as possible to hopefully generate a sale of a brand spanking new machine. |

Royal did on some lower priced standard models into the 90s that were blue or gray.As to why I have wondered if these used up housings with a blemish that might not polish out or was just faster and cheaper?? |
