I have a Hoover U5133-940 Caddy Vac that needs some luuuuuv. Both cord hooks are damaged, one rotates freely now and the other fixed one is broken off (thanks honey!)so the cord is now a rats nest around the handle. The little spring on the flap where you put the hose is also broken and the keeper on the hose is shot.

I can get the spring (I hope that's all the little door needs to stay shut) and a new hose, but am having trouble finding a new bag housing The part the hooks are on is not sold as a separate piece but is part of the bag housing. Unless I can find a used bag housing, I need some ideas how to fix the hooks that doesn't look ridiculous.

Now excuse me while my two sweet huskies maul daddy. :-)
