I saw it yesterday and took these pics. Nothing exciting really, the vac had a chinsy feel about it, ya know like the plastic would crack if you looked at it hard enough. Nonetheless a panny made color variation unlike all the others I have seen until now. Looks pretty good too. I much prefer other brand variations on this style of vac like the Tacony stuff. I do like many other Kenmore vacuums btw.

Strange

Doesn't the "Power Path" logo mean a Kenmore is self-propelled? The handle certainly doesn't look self-propelled. That's a very basic model. You can still buy it under the Panasonic name today.

Actually, PowerPath was just referencing the clean air system that these use. These came out about 1993 when the Twin Fans went away. That white one is probably mid 90s. I had a red one a neighbor left on my porch. It was a pretty good vacuum, unfortunately the brushroll didn't work and I don't recall if it just needed a belt or not. The bottom soleplate was a little melted from something getting stuck in the brushroll most likely.

In the links I have some scans of a brochure I have for these that I picked up at Sears in the late 90s.
