Hey Fellow vacuumland friends,Does anyone remember the tales from the darkside episode with the villainous vacuum cleaner? It is an episode from 1988 titled "hush". If anyone is interested. Thanks Bill |

What kind of a machine do you think it was? And age of machine? Thanks for the reply! Bill |

Im sorry folks that I put this question on here again. I am still learning the ropes of an on line forum. I am really oldschool and a bit clumsy. My apologies! Bill |

There is a video, of the tales of the dark side, called Hush. It does show the vacuum.

That 1980s VHS clarity!
Going off the position of the carry-handle alone, I'm going to say this is an older, modified Royal-Aire Canister, or even an older G-E canister. It can't be an Electrolux XXX since this vacuum's strap connects back into the vacuum, and not the switch.Filtex canisters had no carry handle.
Also, notice the front of the canister. It has a distinctive bell shape to it, another feature seen on Royal.
Compare the vacuum to this Royal-Aire canister. Thanks to Hygiene903 for the photo: |
