We have run across a Hoover 102 and are looking for a buyer. We do not know the value or even where to sell it. There is also a Hoover that doesn't Show model # it simply says The Hoover Cleaner It Beats as it Sweeps. Any information would be appreciated.

Like all the guys on here usually say, it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

When evaluating a model 102, as to its resale value, we should first compare it to what it should look like. This is a picture of the top of the machine.

The original cloth bag was made of Sateen and has the words the Hoover printed on it. This is a very critical piece in determining value. Any other cloth bag will lower the resale price of a model 102.

The brush roll must have a good long bristles, with none of the hairs missing. A worn out brush roll will lower the machines resale value

Hi Gary
That one isn't going anywhere- it's Tom's example from the Vacuum Cleaver Museum ;)
