I've intended to ask this question of Forum readers and then forget!
I'm currently working on my Kirby 511. Inside the Em-Tor is a white substance that I assume is mold. This is not the first time I've seen it. I've seen it in other areas, but it's almost always in the Em-Tor. I scrub as much away as I can and spray it with bleach too as a precaution. But it never goes away.
Is it indeed mold? If so, how can I get rid of it? |

I'm no expert, but it looks like the metal is oxidizing. I wouldn't think it would be mold. |
