personally I have never heard of it but if you could post a picture or two that would be very helpful in identifying the Parlourvac.
I believe the Whirlwind might have been manufactured by New Maid, actually if you do a search on ebay you might well turn up an advert or two. Actually our good friend Collector2 has one as well - see the link. This was a non electric cleaner where the fan and brush roll were driven by the wheels rather than an electric motor.
