Hello!

I could use some help:
1. Identifying the size/style of rivet needed to fix a Kirby Aluminum/Metal ID tag as a rivet from one of the vacuums I am restoring has broken off.
2. Could you tell me where to buy the rivet too?

See attached picture to help understand my question too.

Thanks!

Kirby has never listed those rivets or the serial number plate. Since that is a 515 you can push the rivet out from inside the fan housing.

Thank you, I will see if Fastenal or someone sells them, from the picture it looks like I need something about .20" long and about .10" wide?

length .232" width .070"
or
length 5.9mm width 1.77mm

I think you can also see the spiral in the rivet.
