Hi Jason, Great find there. Especially as it appears to be in original condition. I'm sure it will clean and shine up great. I'm sorry to hear you lost your original collection in a fire a few years ago. I'm must of been very upsetting to lose not just your vacuums but the other things that was in your home as well. I hope no one was hurt.
If you replace the original bag and cord make sure you still hold on to the originals. Let us know how the clean up goes.
Welcome to the site.

Well there is another kirby in the back of the thrift shop, looks like a new power drive model....debating on asking about it, or just waiting to pull it out of the dumpster lol |

Kirby owners buy more Kirbys.
When I get one Kirby at a thrift shop, I go to the same one every day for the next couple of days.
I saw a Kirby G3, then a Heritage, then a Sanitronic VII, then a G4, and then a Classic III all in quick succession one month.
I only ended up with the Sanitronic VII though. The G3 had a tech drive problem I didn't know how to fix at the time, they wouldn't price the G4 for me even though I told them I'd pay $35 for it (they put it on the floor for $15,) and then I already had a Classic III. |
