Just bought a Dyson DC01 |

Been to a car boot sale this morning and came across a vac stall who was selling various vacuums - mainly dyson and carpet cleaners.
I asked if he had any dc01 as I have been looking for one for upstairs. He said he had loads and I could have one for a £5. Many were in top notch condition and very clean only a few were tatty. He showed me it working on the generator and suction was fine. He even put a new hose on for me too (well took best on off another dc01). My friend bought one too but got the pale blue dc01. Motor sounds fine and the brushroll looks like new. It's been well looked after. I've had it in the bath with oxy clean powder it's come up like new :)
