Hi Robin It's a pretty rare machine... It's the only UK market machine to use the style of Hood more commonly used in Australia and the US Mine dates from September 1976 Seamus |

The headlight lens is longer and thinner on the US version, so they are different hoods, although they look similar. |

I was so used to the 1076 type hood, I say thse new hoods when I was about 16 it was a shock! I'll admit, my least fav type is a ranger. But, I have several... HOOVERS are like cats: there's no such thing as an ugly one. We all juat like some better! Here's that "other" style. |
