I saw this picture in a news article today and am having the hardest time identifying this canister. My first thought was it could be a Singer, but I've have never seen one of these before, so maybe its European? Some sort of Hoover Constellation wannabe with wheels? Does anyone know? 

That's a Russian vacuum, I forget the name but it's well known for it's looks. I'll see if I can't dig up a picture
