I got mine for $60. That vacuum on ebay is missing it's 17 inch L shaped PN which is one of that models best, or most interesting aspects. On the other hand it has a cord winder, which mine does not.

Now according to my oreck book, that model was originaly priced at $698 but they took off $200 for a price of $498 so that guy is trying to sell it for more than it was worth originaly. I don't think it's vintage either (I was told it was discontinued in 1998) so it should be worth quite a bit less than that now.

Wait a minute. The guy mentions a belt, so the nozzle must not be pictured, which is odd. It's not that supprising thought when you consider that he can't spell oreck properly.

I have never seen an Oreck canister. I like those! That thing is overpriced by $400.00 at least.

I guess you were right about the photo when I looked at the overly priced machine the photo did not cross my mind.
