ps.

I had to cut the hose down 6in, it had a bad spot, but the rest of the hose is like new. now all I need to do is grease the moter bearings, they are a bit dry, from age. does aney one know the year this was made. I am thinking 1965-1969.

thanks Chris

Great Find, Chris!

And the original box and paperwork make it even better. From your photo it doesn't look as if it had much use. I think you're probably close on the date, as that's the later style rug nozzle with it. One of our GE experts could probably pinpoint it better.

Uh oh! Gee, all I found in a thrift store like that only had the hose, the dust brush, and crevice tool. I paid $5.00 for that. But for another $12.00 or less, I got some wands, floor tool, and some extra cleaning tools from Toby. I got a nice copy of a book from him too, I'd believe your vacuum is from around 1965.

Great find Chris, and what a deal. It doesn't look like it had much use, just the way we like them!

Hey Chris! I have this same model, except I don't have the original box and mine has the seperate floor/ wall brush instead of the one that snaps into the rug tool. It looks in fantastic shape and the price was great. Later, Trg
