What was Motivation for buying a Kirby pre 60's |

 Today when a Kirby saleman comes to your home They use the It i built the way they built vacuums years ago, It has direct suction so it out cleans most vacuums.
But why would you buy a Kirby over a Hoover, Royal or Eureka. They were all built just as well as the next, and after actually having time to use some of my collection They all seem to clean as well as the next. | ||

ATTACHMENTS!!!! And a good demo...Kirby appealed to the man of the house just as much as the woman, The dirtmeter showed need to the woman, but the Handi Butler sold it to the man, who in those days almost always controlled the money. | ||

I think shag was the evil culprit! It not only offended the eyes but all the senses, especially that of touch. Can't you still remember scooting your sock clad feet across it, as you most sinisterly declared to your soon to be victim "I am the all powerful Electro, feel my sting" the very instant before zapping'em!
