Hi guys, here's my Senior 652 I got from Gumtree for £5. The guy who I got it from was really nice, when he found out I was a collector he didn't want to take my money!

It's in good shape, but it's a shame the bag isn't original.

I'd love to find metal-based convertibles here like you find metal-based seniors in Britain!Tongue out

The last metal-based CONVERTIBLE I saw was years ago, and I pulled it from a trash heap and carted it home!

There's a HOOVER Citation calling my name at a certain vacuum Shop.....and you can never have enough HOOVERS!

Glad the seller was a good man, and not the typical eBay big-bucks retirement fund fetcher, or a jerky vacuum repair guy jacking up prices when that 'old junk out-back' suddenly becomes 'priceless antiques' upon mentioning being a connector. There's many horror tales of such on this site!

Good luck with it!Laughing

They're quite common over here! well, they were. Wink

That's a good trash find!

Yes, he didn't want £100 for it as it was "retro" or "antique" like a lot of ebay or Gumtree sellers want, which was nice Laughing

Thanks!

Nice find, Joe. You could always use the bag off the senior you got from me and make 1 machine as the body of this one looks to be in better condition?

Lovely, Joe, could I maybe request a photo of the manual that the seller kindly sent to you aswell?
George :)

That might be a good idea Chris, however the bag on my other Senior is a slightly darker colour.

George, I'll post a photo of the manual for you at some point Smile
