Hi,

I have listed the Zorbster as requested.

Please note I will not be listing anymore until after Easter. I have spent today packaging the cleaners so that they are ready to go first thing on Tuesday morning for delivery on Wednesday (unless otherwise specified by the buyer).

Thank you for your interest and your bids.

Yes Josh we know you are Aspergers - your mother lets people know on your auction listings. CeeJay has helped you out, and wasn't it worth waiting for the privilege of being able to bid on the Zorbster.

Its interested me that no-one has bid on the DC05 original - how come? I did think the DC01, DC04 and DC05 would get a lot of attention.

You will be bidding against me on the Electrolux Z1710, and the U2107 Josh - I am not bidding on the other machines on your list

I cant see you outbidding Alex on the U2462 - he wants it desperately

As far as I know I think she has 2 models of the U2462. Whether or not she lists the other one after this one ends is anyone's guess.

You do realise that Alex has bid a huge amount of money on that U2462 Josh, and you might have to bid as much as £500 to get it off him!

Post# 276682 , Reply# 11   4/17/2014 at 13:10 (3,633 days old) by madabouthoovers ()

If you want the U2107 Josh I have a maximum bid of £127.02 on it. I am not that desperate if you outbid me as I know how much you want these items.

I have a maximum bid of £20 on the Z1710 likewise.

The one I really do want to get is the Sebo C3.1, and I guess that I will have to try to snipe it at the end of the auction

Bear in mind Josh that the U2107 and the U2462 finish at exactly the same time, so if you don't outbid Alex, there will be no chance for you to go for the U2107.

And yes - its once in a blue moon that this sort of opportunity arises - but there can only be one winner for each item. All I can say to you Josh, is don't get carried away. Sometimes you just cant always get what you want, and that's just the way life is. I know the U2462 is rare and desirable, but Its just not worth getting in a bidding war with another member over, as you will end up regretting it, and spending way more than you needed to. I would never dream of spending over £300 on that U2462, which is why I'm going for something else instead, and if I end up winning nothing, then so be it - I'll go online and buy a brand new SEBO K3 Premium instead to console myself.

Bless you Josh, Hope you win the Zorbster, I want it too lol but I want the DC14i and I hope to win, if not a DC44 Animal and a second hand DC14.
I hope the seller lists a brand new DC07 Animal!

Post# 276696 , Reply# 19   4/17/2014 at 13:53 (3,633 days old) by madabouthoovers ()

I think youd do well to get the DC14 for £100 opening bid Tayyab. In 24 hours we'll all know if we've won on the first batch of vacs or not.

Just bear in mind snipers at the last minute Tayyb - I suggest you bid £150 on it if that's what you are prepared to pay, and hope no -one bids more than this in the last 10 seconds, as that's always the most heart-stopping time on an ebay Auction.

Lol, just noticed the bid on the DC14 made at 19.09 tonight - was that yours Tayyab?

I wouldn't want to be in Alex's shoes tomorrow night in the last 10 seconds of the U2462 Auction!

Did you just bid on the Z1710 - I just got an outbid notice email

Josh - if you are bidding on the Hoover Vortex - are you sure its the white one? The White one was the V2000, as featured on Roger's video. This one listed is the V1500, which might not be the model that Dyson Sued hoover over?

Perhaps Roger might know more about the diffs between the V2000 and the V1500?

Actually I do know what colour is it in white and black Because I have one that's pretty broken up has the same model number It is definitely the one Dyson sued over because it's still called Hoover vortex If it wasn't It would being called a hoover hurricane On the box so I know it's definitely the one But I wish it was v2000 cord rewind but this can do

Is that what the difference is then - its not the wattage of the motor, as they are 1350W.

So the V2000 had auto rewind and the V1500 had manual cord wraps? Its just that Roger said in his video that the V2000 was the one that Dyson sued Hoover over.

And do you know if that Hoover Purepower bigfoot has a bag full light - I cant tell from pictures on google as they are too small to tell. I cant find any instruction manuals on Hoover's website for any of these models, crap isn't it?

Roger's pic here shows a bag full light, but I don't think this is the bigfoot that is being sold here as Rogers is a 1600W and CEEJAY are selling a 1700W model.

Was it the U3576? Most later Purepowers had no bag light - but if you are sure it had one then I believe you. Like Alex, I like Hoovers with bag lights as well.

Newoldcleaners has 2 models of Big Foot according to the thread posted a week back - a U3565 and a U3576.

Do a dirtfinder search on these 2 model numbers and you will see them.

Look at this thread at reply 70 and reply 88, you will see both these models listed
