After my never ending search for a convertible, I found a beautiful decade 80 at a great local vac shop today. Completely rebuilt with a new outer bag, a pack of Hoover A bags and another new belt. When were the Decade 80's produced? Any other info about them would be great. Are they that much different from a convertible?

Was made in the Decade of the 1980s!
A decade 80 is hardly any different from the plastic-base convertible of the time, sporting the new Type A bag adaptor (the Type A bag originally had a rounded bottom to slide into the plastic retainer, some 'to fit' non-genuine bags still have this style collar). A lovely machine, treat her well and your carpets will stay clean for DECADES! |
