hi folks just bought a 1961 hooverette off e bay for just a few quid. all that came was the main turquoise body, the stick handle, and the hose. the cord was severed about a foot from the machine. i havent tried it yet as i havent sorted out a cord. inside the bag has rotted away the dirt filled remainder is loose haviing come away from the rim. it must have been lying in a shed somewhere for years. will post some before and after pics if i can with this system of mine!!! also the lady i bought it of offered me an old junior tool set free with my hooverette, naturally i accepted although i already have a set with my 1334. ive found a nice use for it! i use it on my maytag sattelite as the steel hose end fits exactly into the port!! and i couldnt get on with the hose provided as i find it to short and flimsy and you cant get anywhere as the powerful suction grabs it all in. its better with this one as you can get further away! and arent 50s/60s hooverflex hoses lovely to work with? tough strong flexible long and virtually indistructable. thats why a lot have survived unscathed. mind you i can see why constellation was given the down angled hose coupler, using the up angled junior one it tends to tip the machine forward a little. speak tp you soon
