Sam
I don't know if there is any order to the serial numbers I am afraid, but the information was contained in some service manuals - I have serial numbers from 1953 - 1963 so I can have a look when I get home, for the 119 and maybe for the 2944. If the 375 has narrow front wheels it is pre-WW2, if wide wheels post WW2 Al |

Hi Al. My 375 has wide wheels! I did venture into Hooverland earlier and dated one from the service manual there. Any help with the others will help my spreadsheet out! |

Sam,
It appears that your 119 predates 1953 (where my records begin) however it looks like it is an early model (judging by the number) it would be around 1951 I think - they were making around 200,000 per annum and January 1953 the number is K514400. It appears that the 2944 is a very early model too, somewhere around January 1961 Al |
