Electrolux Silverado deluxe pop open question |

 Hi I love my Electrolux Silverado deluxe and it does lose suction as the germ grabber bag fills but I can't get it to pop open and shut it self down. It is even on the coarse dirt setting so is the pop open mechanism messed up or is the bag just not yet full enough to pop the machine on the coarse dirt setting? Thanks for your input. | ||

The normal setting on the Silverado is four bars. This is the setting to pop open. Higher takes longer and less opens sooner. | ||

Actually before he went out of business a vacuum sweeper shop gave me this Electrolux second hand. It needed some work actually twice(I did myself). It now works ever since. This lux is older than me. I do not believe it would have come with a warranty how I got it. I'll whenever I can get genuine Aerus bags though. | ||

Sometimes if you hit it right you can run across a box of Electrolux bags at thrift stores for next to nothing. I've picked up an unopened box of the GermGrabbers for $2 then another time I found a box of Home Solutions with 19 of the 24 bags in the box at the Salvation Army for I think it was $3.
Aerus will also mail them to you, or at least the dealers around here will. | ||
