Hi everyone! I've been doing a lot of research on the famous Kirby! I'm going to pick my 2 new/old babies up tomorrow! Anyways, my question is: from the info I've gathered on this forum, the Heritage II has a coin slot, but does the Dual Sanitronic 50 have a coin slot? I don't know why, but I'm very mesmerized by the whole put change into your Kirby!!! Which is neat for the fact that my husband drops change everywhere everyday! This will make my life grand! Whenever I find change all over the house I call it my "Sammy tax" since I had to pick it up. Hence, my husband's name is Sammy. Now I can call it "Kirby tax"!!! Ha Ha! I was just curious to know if my dually would have it as well? I will be using that one before the Heritage II since I've bought them both and the Heritage II is missing a beater bar and rug plate. Until I get those parts, the D50 is my next daily driver, once I clean him up! This is by far one of the coolest features I have ever heard of! I'm also very easily amused! Ha Ha! :) -Michelle

The Kirby D50's coin slot is located in the handle grip.

Michelle,

The specific part with the "coin slot" hole is called the rear handle fork cover. The cord hooks on it are often broken on most examples.
