Its origins are a secret but its home now! Model E440 "Supreme", these pics are of it after I went over it with Mothers and 00 Steel Wool. Cord was shot, but it does work, only on one speed (bad switch).

Photo's of Universal Uprights? My grandmother had one that was brown with a brown bag and red lettering that said Universal. The bag was in the back and twisted off like a Royal Vacuum. Very good cleaner for the time....

Any info on the Universal line? We had a Universal Coffematic when I was a kid, great perk.
When did they stop making vacs? I know they sold their small appiainces to GE in the 60's.
