Is it true that even the very first Kirby Traditions from the summer of 1979 had retainer clips for the two rear wheels?

Adam,

Would any of your Kirby Traditions (s/n F131124, F188857 and F667128) have retainer clips holding the two rear wheels in place?

Holding wheels in place,

That would be behind the "chrome" sticker on the rear wheels, right?

I wonder if my December 1979 Tradition (With Speed-Switch in the Headlight) would still have these?

it would be hard to tell without removing the "Chrome" sticker.

Alex,

Yes, all four wheels have hub caps on them.

Alex,

If you could please submit a picture or two of your Tradition's rear wheels (with hubcaps removed), I would appreciate it.

Thank you,

Ben
