I acquired this drum sander for $30, but the armature & relay were fried. At the risk of offending purists, Rather than spend over $800 for repair parts, I mounted a 1 1/2 HP G.E. jet pump motor on top. Actually runs quieter than original. Along with an Advance 18" polisher for $30 at a yard sale, after decades finishing floors with rented equipment I now have everything I need, just 2 years after I declared my retirement.
