Thanks Dan I'll check with the 2 branches near me. As of last November there were no parts available for the Platinum, other than bags and filters. | ||

if Aerus doesn't have the part no one will that's a 100% guarantee .Basically any new vacuum parts will always be available through the manufacturer for a few years because of patents plus they reserve the right to sell parts before releasing them to the after market .

Eluxca sounds like me... I get angry when I put a scratch on anything. I totally baby my machines even if I don't like them. I too liked the look of the first PN. What a shame they changed it. | ||

Your aerus lux dealer should be able to order parts for you even if they don't have it in stock. My local dealer got me a few parts I was looking for earlier on. | ||
