I was stalking, err make that browsing the vintage vacuum cleaners on EBay. Something came over me and I "slipped" and made an offer and it was accepted. I am now the proud owner of a Lewyt model 66.
Some other interesting items.
A Blue Hoover Lark. Nice rug nozzle. I have purchased vacuums before just for their attachments.
Nice set of attachments for a Hoover Model 61.
An AirWay model 55
I believe that I saw 2 Rainbow Model D

EBay has been good to me. I am waiting for a complete Electrolux with the cord winder and owner's manual to arrive. dated Sept 9, 1935.

If ANYONE ANYWHERE should find a Garland Green Hoover rug floor tool, I NEED one!

.
.

If the owner's manual is dated 1935, then it's the wrong manual for an Electrolux with a cord winder. The first Lux cord winder was introduced in 1949 as an optional accessory for the Model XXX.

Post a pic of the garland green floor tool from the internet, so those of us who aren't familiar with it have an idea of what to look for in thrift stores, etc.

Electrolux137: Thanks for the heads up. When the XXX arrives I will research it. Maybe the owners updated the vacuum.

Kevin: I will post a pic if I can even find one. I have a new laptop and I am
"computer challenged" It is the same "green' as the Hoover Constellation Model 87
