Finally had the opportunity to get to Jefferson Ga. to meet Toby. Seems he is very fond of GE Swivel Tops, since he had about 460 of them. We had a good time discussing Vacs. I brought a couple Universals with me, but we never got around to playing with them, because it was necessary that Toby pull four others off his shelves for me to look at. He has one set of Universal tools that the wands and hose handle has sort of a cross hatch pattern in them. And I thought I had seen everything!!!But the BEST time for me was to hold in my own two hands, an EARLY Electrolux V!!! The one with the detachable runners!!! I was surprised at it's size. It's rather small. I had just assumed it was the same circumference as the XII. AND IT RUNS!!!I never thought I'd ever see one in person, much less play with one. I will return to Toby's, had a fun visit. Besides, I am holding one of machines hostage!!!

Yup, Rick! He has SO many GEs! I love that V too! I got to run that one just a few weeks ago! I was so surprised that it ran! It is about as powerful as my Air-Way upright. Toby's such a great guy...! I had so much fun playing with his machines that day!

~~K~~
