Spotted these two today, worth an investment? The Sensotronic has tools and spare bags.

Worth the investment?

My answer would be yes.

That is the third iteration of the Sensotronic and they are not often seen, the top of line version of this cleaner was the "talking" Hoover.

I could not swear to it, but I think I have seen the handheld badged as Goblin, for memory they are Swiss made

Handheld

Can't remember all the details but the plate on the bottom of the handheld did say made in Switzerland, not in bad nick, brush roller really clean but the cloth bag was tired. The Senso is working, I'll call back tomorrow and give it a whirl and if all OK it'll be going on eBay once I've had a play!

Well remembered, vacbear! I never did see one myself, only pictures, but yes, they were sold as the Goblin Roto.

Regarding the Hoover Sensortronic, I could be wrong, but I don't think they sold all that well, hence the infrequent sightings. If one thinks back to the early 1990's, there was with such an enormous choice of cylinder cleaner, both within the Hoover brand and also outside of it. On top of that, Vax was still selling in great numbers, and competing on price with the Sensortronic were the likes of AEG, Bosch, and Meile, all of which were becoming ever-more available, what with the like of Argos now stocking them amongst others.
