Hi All. I have posted the odd item on the site here but not much since I got rid of my old vacuum. Today, Alistair (Vacbear58 on AutomaticWasher.org, not sure about here sorry!) dropped in as he was in the area picking up some machines and he very kindly gave me 5 vacs :) He gave me a TurboPower U2332, Hitachi 1100 and a 560D or 5600, didn't look at this one for long, an Electrolux 612 and a Panasonic Lightweight 1500W. Some work, some don't. I was told that the U2332 worked, however the belt has come off and the headlamp needs changing. The Hitachi 1100 (Red) seems to work. The 560D needs a belt, plus I had put it in the shed and went out and spilt a bit of washing powder on the floor, I put the hose on the back and there was no suction at all. The machine also smelt a bit, I'm not sure if the motor is on its way out and it also sounds clogged. The Light Weight Panasonic needs a belt, I'm not sure if thats a post modern forum here. And the 612 works :)

Please could someone tell me how I can change the belt on the U2332, I've taken the sole plate off and thats as far as I've gone. Also, how do you remove the wheels from it? I have another U2332 that works but a wheel has come off, and I may make one good one out of 2.

Many thanks!

I'll put pics up in a bit of the ones inside!

Chris.

When you take the soleplate off the Turbopower, the brushroll should just lift out and you can slip the old belt off and put a new one on :)
