I fail to see how this is or could be a scam. Someone would want money or card details off you if they were to scam you. Unless of course the owner intends to mug the person who arrives to collect the cleaner. |

I never owned one Dyson, but from what I read, they have wimpy air-flow (somewhere just over 50 cubic feet per minute, while most vacuums are around 100 cubic feet per minute), they're beater brushes don't seem to beat carpet much, and they're made of cheap flimsy plastic that makes you want to treat this vacuum VERY gently so you don't break anything! Their hoses are also stiff, and make the vacuum fall over easily and break. Not worth buying in my honest opinion. The DC41 may have much better performance than probably any other Dyson upright; however, it's made of cheap flimsy plastic just like all its predecessors, so it's still not worth its premium price if the thing just easily falls apart.
