Nice finds! I really like those kirby ties. I have a question though. Could I buy copies of all your proof books, manuals, and other papers? And could I also buy any extra manuals you have? I am selling my kirby model R on ebay right now so I would really like a copy of the 3R instruction book. Thanks -Evan | ||

Hi. Hi Ben and Evan, with regards to taking more pics of the proof books/manual I don't have time at the moment as I've packed everything away again and took those pics why most of the items was out. Next time I get them out and if I have time I'll take more pics. I remembered someone wanted to see how a older Kirby was packed in it's box. I can't remember who it was who asked.
Only the Comvac came from Fred the rest of the info has been collected over many years. I have other bits and pieces which I'll take pics of when I have time. I have quite few Kirby magazines. One of them I'm thinking of has a picture with the wife of either George Scott or Carl Fetzer in the main foyer at the Kirby factory with the line up of the older Scott Fetzer/Kirby machines and 500 series. I think it was taken around 1984/85 so from what I remember there was only the 500 series style and back on display. I would like to share that on here when I dig it out.
