Twas a snowy, cold day in Colorado. I walked into a Goodwill, went to the back and saw a Royal sitting there.
$20 seemed like too much for this old, beat up Royal. However, $10 doesn't! It works fine, but it's in desperate need of carbon brushes and a light bulb. *cough* BEN (KirbyClassicIII) find me the part numbers *cough* This is my first Royal. It's pretty good. I'm assuming its from 1985 since there's a sticker on it saying "80 year Anniversary - 1905-1985" Before Cleaning: |

Another thing I was going to say of this is that because this is a janitorial Royal, then the original bag (it could be had with or without disposable bags) would be dark blue in color. The AOR plate would be red in color. Your machine would've originally looked like what is in the picture below when it was fresh off the factory lines in 1983. ~Ben |
