good look as you will have to import one from america we dont have the x4 in red, I think your referring to the x1.1 which minus a dusting brush is exactly the same Laughing, and I dont think I could enjoy it as much as you like dyson, lol, thats impossible.

Oh yes!! L-u-v-e-r-l-y! Santa has been very good to you - and the Excel model from John Lewis means its an exclusive colour compared to the blue/yellow X4 standard.

As has been reiterated though, the X1.1 Red model is another exclusive model but this time for Euronics stores only. As far as I know there has never been a red X4 in the UK. They also sell the X4 Pro and K1 Pro in dark grey/silver colour.

Some countries have different colours - U.S for example also sell a totally yellow model - and the "Clear" model is a U.S made body only.

Im quite happy with my X4 Extra though prefer my old X1 Automatic as it is a tad quieter and just as effective. I might loan out my X4 to my mum's best friend. She's in her 60s and has one of those Electrolux Boss 1300 watt heavy uprights. I tried it the other day and nearly gave myself a coronary trying to push it along their carpet. The hall way is always messy and I wondered why - the Electrolux works well but oh my it is a heavy plastic beast!

yes I would recommend loaning her the SEBO its very light weight to push, as it doesn't dig into the carpet very much it just sort of pulls itself along, I would love an x1.1 red or x4 pet, I do have a D4 Premium which didn't turn on when I took it out of the box so Sebo will contact me when they are going to pick it up and replace it, and ultralux88 yes I was very exited aha my mother just loves it. the extension hose+comfortable wand+upholstery tool is a lifesaver for my stairs it really does lift the pile.

Even funnier still is the fact that a Brit is wearing the American flag whilst running a German vacuum cleaner. It's like the United Nations in a bedroom.

NIce photos! Love the U.S Onesie too!

Just to say, I took the X4 around today and well, mum's best friend was well chuffed. Her hubby is one of those types who believes that Which is the Bible - so when I mentioned SEBO are number 1 for reliability rated by Which, his eyes lit up.

More importantly though, they were both impressed with the light touch from the handle and that the carpets they have are quite thick with a mix of hard wood floors and a thick hall carpet. Did a better job than their usual Electrolux bagged upright - (Electrolux Z2274) and she was quite surprised to find that the dust bag had filled a bit at the bottom fold from the X4 with just a quick spritz around when she had just finished vacuuming earlier in the day!

And very good taste in vacs as well - I have the X4 Extra, but bought mine second hand, and have still yet to get a turbo tool for it.

Interesting video. However the filters don't have to be replaced until 16 to 32 dust bags have been used (or thus, in turn 3 boxes by 10 dust bags). Though if you have dogs, you should invest in the charcoal filter.

Sebo bags and filters

turbo500's profile picture
I haven't changed my Sebo bag in months. It was probably about July/August when I put a new bag in it. It's about 2/3 full now. They seem to last forever, even with the long haired feline leaving her mark where ever she goes. The vacuum is about 4 years old now and it's had 2 sets of filter replacements since I bought it.

Now, I absolutely don't understand this onesie fashion that is sweeping the UK. I mean, really, they're awful. And have you tried going for a wee wearing one? They may be comfortable, but I'll just stick to my PJ's. At least I can still have a waz standing up in those.

Fashion

It is an age thing. Anyone who cannot abide any particular fashion is simply resentful deep-down that they are too old to wear the garment which is offending them the most, whether they believe it or not. They also forget what they were wearing at that age and what older folks were saying about them. They also forget that they did care a hoot what people thought either.

No one likes to be reminded they are getting old. It worries people that they will become bitter and spiteful if they get older. This is not a new phenomenon by any stretch of the imagination and is of course perfectly understandable. But we are young only for a short time, and certainly will be a long time dead. Let the young people be and free to enjoy their precious few years of youth.

Actually, Benny, I completely disagree with you there. I'm 23, my other half is 29 and he has a pikachu onesie. Seeing as I do most of the washing for both of us, I'm plotting to burn the bloody thing when he's not looking and tell him it shrank in the dryer.

A lot of my friends who are a similar age to myself are posting "onesie selfies" on Facebook. They look ridiculous.

I think it depends on one's shape and size as to what flatters and what doesn't. As with age, a persons figure plays a huge part as to what makes something look attractive - and indeed can make others upset that they could not carry the look off, whether they like whatever it is or not.
