I'm considering buying some of my Hoover Convertibles a CWP brushroll of for Christmas. Has anybody used this brushroll? How does it compare to the original ball bearing brushroll? You can't beat the price of $13.

I used one with my first convertible model u4119! they are EXCELLENT cleaners, very very thorough, also hold on to the machine because it will take off like it is self propelled. $13 is the best price I have seen with these I think I paid $20 for mine.
let us know how you make out with yours!!

I have that replacement brushroll in a couple of Decade convertibles, and other plastic based models, and they work very well. One thing I will say is that it quiets them down considerably. I still maintain the original brushrolls in my metal based convertibles, just meant to be!

About my two Decades...

The one thing they need most is to BE QUIET.

I may buy one for my Guardsman U4125 & save the original beater bar/brush roller for display purposes onlyCool
