Hi,

My 8 year old son is quite a vacuum enthusiast (even saved up and purchased his own Electrolux Ergorapido a year or two ago and would dearly love a Dyson) and was recently given an old, fairly battered Electrolux. On the plate it says Mod. Z 31 and No. M 108075. I was wondering if anyone had any information on this model that I might be able to pass on to my son? He's keen to learn more about it.

Thanks.

Could you kindly post a Photo please, then we may be able to tell you more about it as there was a model 30 (XXX actually) in America and a different one in Europe although the Z denomination indicates European origin.

Upload photos by using the feature "Upload JPEG Format Picture to share in message: " under the message box

Thanks

Al

I've found very little information on the Z31. About all I know is that it was produced in the mid 1940's (Probably as a lower line machine with the model 30)and was sold in Australia (and possibly Sweden). I'm not sure if any other countries had it.

This is it.

Yes, that'd be it as we're in Australia, thanks Doug. Good to have an approximate year that I can tell him anyway.

They are an interesting machine. Wish I had more information to send you.

Merry Christmas
