Hello, Does it hurt or is it advisable to wash the cloth dust bag of a model XXX?And if you can what would be the best way to wash it ? Bill,

Most bags can be washed in cold water and air dried, but no detergent orsoftener, seals the pores of the cloth. The bags are such a tightly woven material that they won't shrink.

Thanks I will try washing with cold water. I just bought a NOS genuine Electrolux bag . There is nothing wrong with the old one I just do not like the idea of someone else's dust in my vac's. Bill,
